haYashar Jasher 27
:And Esav (6215) at that time, after the death of Av'raham (85), frequently went in the field to hunt.
:And Nim'rod (5248) one reigning of Bavel (894), the same was Am'raphel (569), also frequently went with his mighty men to hunt in the field, and to walk about with his men in the cool of the day.
:And Nim'rod (5248) was observing Esav (6215) all the days, for a jealousy was formed in the heart of Nim'rod (5248) against Esav (6215) all the days.
:And on a certain day Esav (6215) went in the field to hunt, and he found Nim'rod (5248) walking in the wilderness with his two men.
:And all his mighty men and his people were with him in the wilderness, but they removed at a distance from him, and they went from him in different directions to hunt, and Esav (6215) concealed himself for Nim'rod (5248), and he lurked for him in the wilderness.
:And Nim'rod (5248) and his men that were with him did not know him, and Nim'rod (5248) and his men frequently walked about in the field at the cool of the day, and to know where his men were hunting in the field.
:And Nim'rod (5248) and two of his men that were with him came to the place where they were, when Esav (6215) started suddenly from his lurking place, and drew his sword, and hastened and ran to Nim'rod (5248) and cut off his head.
:And Esav (6215) fought a desperate fight with the two men that were with Nim'rod (5248), and when they called out to him, Esav (6215) turned to them and smote them to death with his sword.
:And all the mighty men of Nim'rod (5248), who had left him to go to the wilderness, heard the cry at a distance, and they knew the voices of those two men, and they ran to know the cause of it, when they found their king and the two men that were with him lying dead in the wilderness.
:And when Esav (6215) saw the mighty men of Nim'rod (5248) coming at a distance, he fled, and thereby escaped; and Esav (6215) took the valuable garments of Nim'rod (5248), which the father of Nim'rod (5248) had bequeathed to Nim'rod (5248), and with which Nim'rod (5248) prevailed over the whole land, and he ran and concealed them in his house.
:And Esav (6215) took those garments and ran into the city on account of the men of Nim'rod (5248), and he came unto his father's house wearied and exhausted from fight, and he was ready to die through grief when he approached his brother Ya'aqov (3290) and sat before him.
:And he said unto his brother Ya'aqov (3290), Behold I shall die this day, and wherefore then do I want the birthright? And Ya'aqov (3290) acted wisely with Esav (6215) in this matter, and Esav (6215) sold his birthright to Ya'aqov (3290), for it was so brought about by Y'hovah (3068).
:And the portion of Esav (6215) in the cave of the field of Makh'pelah (4375), which Av'raham (85) had bought from the children of Chet (2845) for the possession of a burial ground, Esav (6215) also sold to Ya'aqov (3290), and Ya'aqov (3290) bought all this from his brother Esav (6215) for value given.
:And Ya'aqov (3290) wrote the whole of this in a book, and he testified the same with witnesses, and he sealed it, and the book remained in the hands of Ya'aqov (3290).
:And when Nim'rod (5248) the son of Kush (3568) died, his men lifted him up and brought him in consternation, and buried him in his city, and all the days that Nim'rod (5248) lived were two hundred and fifteen years and he died.
:And the days that Nim'rod (5248) reigned upon the people of the land were one hundred and eighty-five years; and Nim'rod (5248) died by the sword of Esav (6215) in shame and contempt, and the seed of Av'raham (85) caused his death as he had seen in his dream.
:And at the death of Nim'rod (5248) his kingdom became divided into many divisions, and all those parts that Nim'rod (5248) reigned over were restored to the respective kings of the land, who recovered them after the death of Nim'rod (5248), and all the people of the house of Nim'rod (5248) were for a long time enslaved to all the other kings of the land.
