1 a:

And the sons of Yis'ra'el (3478) proceeded from R'phidim (7508) and they encamped in the wilderness of Sinay (5514), in the third month from their going forth from Mits'rayim (4714).

2 b:

At that time came R'u'el (7467) the Mid'yani (4080), the father-in-law of Mosheh (4872), with Tsiporah (6855) his daughter and her two sons, for he had heard of the wonders of Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) which he had done to Yis'ra'el (3478), that he had delivered them from the hand of Mits'rayim (4714).

3 g:

And R'u'el (7467) came to Mosheh (4872) to the wilderness where he was encamped, where was the mountain of Elohim (430).

4 d:

And Mosheh (4872) went forth to meet his father-in-law with great honor, and all Yis'ra'el (3478) was with him.

5 h:

And R'u'el (7467) and his sons remained amongst Yis'ra'el (3478) for many days, and R'u'el (7467) knew Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) from that day forward.

6 w:

And in the third month from the sons of Yis'ra'el (3478) departure from Mits'rayim (4714), on the sixth day thereof, Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) gave to Yis'ra'el (3478) the ten commandments on Mount Sinay (5514).

7 z:

And all Yis'ra'el (3478) heard all these commandments, and all Yis'ra'el (3478) rejoiced exceedingly in Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) on that day.

8 x:

And the glory of Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) rested upon Mount Sinay (5514), and he called to Mosheh (4872), and Mosheh (4872) came in the midst of a cloud and ascended the mountain.

9 j:

And Mosheh (4872) was upon the mount forty days and forty nights; he ate no bread and drank no water, and Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) instructed him in the statutes and judgments in order to teach the sons of Yis'ra'el (3478).

10 y:

And Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) wrote the ten commandments which he had commanded the sons of Yis'ra'el (3478) upon two tablets of stone, which he gave to Mosheh (4872) to command the sons of Yis'ra'el (3478).

11 ay:

And at the end of forty days and forty nights, when Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) had finished speaking to Mosheh (4872) on Mount Sinay (5514), then Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) gave to Mosheh (4872) the tablets of stone, written with the finger of Elohim (430).

12 by:

And when the sons of Yis'ra'el (3478) saw that Mosheh (4872) tarried to come down from the mount, they gathered round Aharon (175), and said, As for this man Mosheh (4872) we know not what has become of him.

13 gy:

Now therefore rise up, make unto us a Elohim (430) who shall go before us, so that thou shalt not die.

14 dy:

And Aharon (175) was greatly afraid of the people, and he ordered them to bring him gold and he made it into a molten calf for the people.

15 hj:

And Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) said to Mosheh (4872), before he had come down from the mount, Get thee down, for thy people whom thou didst bring forth from Mits'rayim (4714) have corrupted themselves.

16 wj:

They have made to themselves a molten calf, and have bowed down to it, now therefore leave me, that I may consume them from off the earth, for they are a stiffnecked people.

17 zy:

And Mosheh (4872) besought the countenance of Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430), and he prayed to Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) for the people on account of the calf which they had made, and he afterward descended from the mount and in his hands were the two tablets of stone, which Elohim (430) had given him to command Yis'ra'el (3478).

18 xy:

And when Mosheh (4872) approached the camp and saw the calf which the people had made, the anger of Mosheh (4872) was kindled and he broke the tablets under the mount.

19 jy:

And Mosheh (4872) came to the camp and he took the calf and burned it with fire, and ground it till it became fine dust, and strewed it upon the water and gave it to the Yis'ra'eli (3478) to drink.

20 k:

And there died of the people by the swords of each other about three thousand men who had made the calf.

21 ak:

And on the morrow Mosheh (4872) said to the people, I will go up to Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430), peradventure I may make atonement for your sins which you have sinned to Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430).

22 bk:

And Mosheh (4872) again went up to Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430), and he remained with Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) forty days and forty nights.

23 gk:

And during the forty days did Mosheh (4872) entreat Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) in behalf of the sons of Yis'ra'el (3478), and Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) hearkened to the prayer of Mosheh (4872), and Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) was entreated of him in behalf of Yis'ra'el (3478).

24 dk:

Then spake Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) to Mosheh (4872) to hew two stone tablets and to bring them up to Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430), who would write upon them the ten commandments.

25 hk:

Now Mosheh (4872) did so, and he came down and hewed the two tablets and went up to Mount Sinay (5514) to Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430), and Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) wrote the ten commandments upon the tablets.

26 wk:

And Mosheh (4872) remained yet with Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) forty days and forty nights, and Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) instructed him in statutes and judgments to impart to Yis'ra'el (3478).

27 zk:

And Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) commanded him respecting the sons of Yis'ra'el (3478) that they should make a sanctuary for Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430), that his name might rest therein, and Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) showed him the likeness of the sanctuary and the likeness of all its vessels.

28 xk:

And at the end of the forty days, Mosheh (4872) came down from the mount and the two tablets were in his hand.

29 jk:

And Mosheh (4872) came to the sons of Yis'ra'el (3478) and spoke to them all the words of Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430), and he taught them laws, statutes and judgments which Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) had taught him.

30 l:

And Mosheh (4872) told the sons of Yis'ra'el (3478) the word of Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430), that a sanctuary should be made for him, to dwell amongst the sons of Yis'ra'el (3478).

31 al:

And the people rejoiced greatly at all the good which Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) had spoken to them, through Mosheh (4872), and they said, We will do all that Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) has spoken to thee.

32 bl:

And the people rose up like one man and they made generous offerings to the sanctuary of Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430), and each man brought the offering of Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) for the work of the sanctuary, and for all its service.

33 gl:

And all the sons of Yis'ra'el (3478) brought each man of all that was found in his possession for the work of the sanctuary of Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430), gold, silver and brass, and every thing that was serviceable for the sanctuary.

34 dl:

And all the wise men who were practiced in work came and made the sanctuary of Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430), according to all that Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) had commanded, every man in the work in which he had been practiced; and all the wise men in heart made the sanctuary, and its furniture and all the vessels for the holy service, as Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) had commanded Mosheh (4872).

35 hl:

And the work of the sanctuary of the tabernacle was completed at the end of five months, and the sons of Yis'ra'el (3478) did all that Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) had commanded Mosheh (4872).

36 wl:

And they brought the sanctuary and all its furniture to Mosheh (4872); like unto the representation which Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) had shown to Mosheh (4872), so did the sons of Yis'ra'el (3478).

37 zl:

And Mosheh (4872) saw the work, and behold they did it as Y'hovah (3068) Elohim (430) had commanded him, so Mosheh (4872) blessed them.
